Israel junction conditions are a very handy tool to formulate
the description of the dynamics of two spacetime domains separated
by an infinitesimally thick layer of matter energy.
We show in this short work how it could be possible to implement
the Bohr-Sommerfeld quantization condition on this system,
briefly discussing some general features and presenting some
preliminary numerical results in a specific case (in which
a pressurless dust shell separates two domains of anti de
Sitter spacetime).
The specific example suggested here could be ineteresting,
after suitable generalizations, to investigate some semiclassical
properties in the context of the brane cosmological scenario.
