Research Activities:
Research activities concern the study of many body system properties using quantum, classic and mixed approach with simulation and approximation techniques.
The main research themes are:
1) Superconductivity and exciton condensation in coupled quantum wells; electronic properties of quantum wires with Monte Carlo diffusion
2) Liquid simulations with classic and ab-initio molecular dynamics
3) Spin response function of quantum fluids with Monte Carlo diffusion
4) Development of new density functionals
5) Phase cohexistence in fluid systems
6) Simulation of He properties with quantum Monte Carlo
7) High asymmetric electrolytic mixtures with Monte Carlo and approximate methods
8) Defects and grain boundaries in metallic systems
